Westham Innovations, in cooperation with Kansas State University, has researched and developed a home and outdoor flea trap for retail use.
As with all of our other pest control products, the main challenge was to create an effective device that will serve its purpose with full force while being environmentally safe & friendly. We remember that our products go into houses and are used near people and their beloved pets.
After study and testing of many methods, the joint effort has produced an environmentally safe, brightly designed, effective trap, brand-named: myFleaTrap.
Here are the results of testing done by KSU and by expert entomologists in the US:
Tests at Kansas State University
Room tests, Dec. 2006:
When compared to three other flea traps, myFleaTrap caught an average of 87% of the fleas released into rooms overnight.

Independent Tests in US
Stable test, made Oct. 2006:
In field tests when compared to other flea traps, the myFleaTrap caught over eight thousand (8,000) fleas, where the other traps never caught more than 1200.
IN House Testing

When compared to other flea traps, myFleaTrap caught over 130 fleas, while at the same time other traps caught between 6 and 20 fleas.
